The Estate Planners Network (EPN) Professional Charter

As accredited members of the Estate Planners Network Mind At Rest Wills adhere to the EPN Professional Charter ensuring that members of the public can use an EPN member with confidence.

The Charter consists of 8 main principles and they are as follows:

1. Act with integrity when dealing with clients and suppliers

  • Clients receive a good quality service
  • Clients are not sold products they do not require or that are not suitable for their circumstances

2. Ensure our knowledge & competence are at the required level to perform work undertaken

  • Clients receive correct and up to date advice
  • Clients are referred to other suppliers where the work is beyond a members knowledge level

3. Maintain adequate financial resources and plan for the future

  • Clients are provided with security knowing that the company will not cease trading

4. Run our business effectively and in accordance with all relevant legislation

  • Clients will have confidence in using an EPN Member

5. Provide a high level of service to our clients

  • Clients receive the work within the agreed time-scales
  • Clients receive a high level of support and aftercare

6. Settle any disputes in a prompt and professional manner

  • Clients will have access to an in-house complaints procedure in the event of a dispute

7. Honour all agreements with clients

  • Clients will receive the products and services at the agreed price with no hidden extras and within the agreed time-scale

8. Protect client money and assets

  • Client money is kept separately
  • Client money is not used for general business purposes
